Concordia runners compete in Republic County meet

BELLEVILLE — The Concordia Junior-Senior High School cross country runners competed in the Republic County Invitational at Belleville Country Club on Thursday.
In the varsity boys' race, Concordia had Draven Luecke place 16th in 21:01.
Joel Gross ran 22:51 to finish 22nd for the Panthers.
The Concordia girls had Megan Barr place 15th in 26:31.
Moyra Barnes crossed in 22nd place in 28:18.
Gunner Barnes, competing in the boys' junior varsity race, was 13th in 26:09.
Concordia had three runners place in the top 10 in the middle school boys' race.
Trigg Fraser finished fourth in 14:01.
Quinn Kymer was seventh in 14:33.
Brody Marsh placed 10th in 15:05.
Daniel Reedy finished 11th in 15:56.
Concordia runners swept the top four spots in the middle school girls' division.
Hannah Bridwell won the race in 13:31.
Mya Niehues finished a close second with a time of 13:32.
Skye Johnson ran 14:39 to place third.
Ashlynn James was fourth in 14:39.
The other Concordia runners, the times and placings include:
Bailey Conner, 15:18, ninth; Addison Schreiber, 15:56, 13th; Preslee Marsh, 16:14, 16th; Skylah Garst, 18:10, 23rd; Rubi Trost, 18:20, 24th; and Sophia Fraley, 18:37, 26th.
