Eighth grade falls, 35-28

Outscored 20-13 in the second half, the Concordia eighth grade girls' basketball team suffered a 35-28 home loss to Marysville on Thursday.
The game was tied 15-15 at halftime.
Concordia was limited to six points in the third quarter, and Marysville scored seven to take a slim 22-21 lead.
Marysville then tossed in 13 points in the final period to seven for the Panthers.
Cianna DeLeon scored 15 points for Concordia.
The Concordia B-team slipped past Marysville 27-26 in overtime.
Concordia trailed 20-10 through three quarters of play.
The Panthers poured in 14 points in the fourth period, and limited Marysville to four points to pull even at 24-24.
Concordia then outscored Marysville 3-2 in overtime.
DeLeon led the Panthers with 14 points. Desyn Thornton added seven points.
