Eighth grade girls fall to Marysville

The Concordia eighth grade girls' basketball team was beaten 36-28 by Marysville in a home game on Monday.
Marysville doubled up Concordia 10-5 in the opening quarter.
The Panthers were limited to three points in the second stanza, and Marysville scored eight to go up 18-8 at halftime.
Marysville added eight points in the third quarter, to four for Concordia, and it was a 26-12 game.
The Panthers pumped in 16 points in the final period. Marysville scored 10.
Carlie Carlgren paced Concordia with 14 points.
The Concordia B-team fell 25-18 to Marysville.
Marysville led the game 15-6 at halftime.
Concordia scored 12 points in the second half to 10 for Marysville.
Abigail Peterson scored six points for the Panthers.
