Eighth grade places fourth

WAMEGO — The Concordia eighth grade volleyball team placed fourth in the North Central Kansas League tournament last Saturday.
Concordia defeated Marysville, 21-25, 25-21, 15-5 in the opening match.
The Panthers fell 25-12, 25-8 to top-seeded Clay Center.
Rock Creek downed Concordia 25-6, 25-19 in the third-place match.
Clay Center knocked off Abilene 25-20, 25-21 in the championship match.
