Eisenhower downs Panthers

Outscored 10-5 in the final quarter, the Concordia seventh grade boys' basketball team suffered a narrow 33-30 defeat to Eisenhower Middle School, Manhattan, in a home game on Thursday.
Concordia bolted to a 13-4 lead in the first quarter.
The Panthers were limited to five points in the second stanza. Eisenhower tossed in nine points to make it an 18-13  game at halftime.
Eisenhower pumped in 10 points in the third period, to seven for Concordia, to close the gap to 25-23.
The Panthers scored just five points in the fourth quarter as Eisenhower tossed in 10 points to rally for the win.
Peyton Retter scored 12 points for Concordia.
Luke Donovan and Karson Lister added nine points each.
The Concordia B-team fell 33-5 to Eisenhower.
Lister scored four points.
