Five CHS volleyball players receive all-league recognition

Five members of the Concordia High School volleyball team received All-North Central Kansas League recognition.
Seniors Carlie Carlgren and Callie Parker and sophomore Kynlee Hamel were named to the All-NCKL team.
Junior Taylor McDaniel and sophomore Baylen Arnold received all-league honorable mention.
Concordia, which finished 20-17 overall, went 9-1 in winning the NCKL title.
Carlgren finished the season with 246 digs. She also had 100 kills.
Parker had 174 kills, 97 assists and 46 blocks.
Hamel led the Panthers in kills with 219 and blocks with 67. She had 120 digs.
McDaniel had 149 kills and 194 digs.
Arnold had a team high in digs with 479.
Joining the three Concordia players on the all-league team include:
Claira Dannefer, Callie Powell and Sammy Stout, Abilene; Lily Edwards, Ayla Johnson, Janae Crimmins and Raime Lipker, Clay Center; and Claire Holle and Bella Rader, Marysville.
Receiving honorable mention along with McDaniel and Arnold include:
Keira Jones and Clare Kuntz, Chapman; and Lexie Hecht, Marissa Uhrich and Rylie Meinhardt, Wamego.
