Fort Riley edges Panthers, 24-22

FORT RILEY — The Concordia seventh-grade boys' basketball team suffered a 24-22 defeat to Fort Riley on Thursday.
Fort Riley had a 6-4 lead after one quarter of play.
Each team scored seven points in the second period, and Fort Riley led 13-11.
The two teams scored four points each in the third quarter and seven points each in the fourth as Fort Riley held on for the win.
Gehrig Bechard scored 12 points for Concordia.
The Concordia B-team defeated Fort Riley, 24-9.
Derrick Jumper scored 10 points for the Panthers.
