Fort Riley edges Panthers, 37-35

FORT RILEY — Outscored 9-7 in the final quarter, the Concordia eighth grade boys' basketball team suffered a narrow 37-35 defeat to Fort Riley on Thursday.
Concordia trailed 11-6 after one quarter of play.
The Panthers tossed in seven points in the second stanza, to six for Fort Riley, to make it 17-13 at halftime.
Concordia pumped in 15 points in the third quarter. Fort Riley scored 11 and the game was tied 28-28.
Fort Riley then pulled out the win in the final period.
Logan Jackson scored 18 points for Concordia.
The Concordia B-team knocked off Fort Riley, 29-18.
Concordia led the game 16-10 at halftime.
The Panthers outscored Fort Riley 13-8 in the second half.
Coleman Plymesser led Concordia with 15 points and Grayson Stephens added 10.
