Knights of Columbus, Legion win

In the final games of the regular season, the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion posted Peewee Baseball wins Wednesday at the Concordia Sports Complex.
Scoring a run in the first extra inning, the Knights of Columbus edged Concordia Chevrolet/Buick, 5-4.
The American Legion rallied from a 5-2 deficit to defeat the Concordia Lions, 8-5.
Concordia Chevrolet/Buick led the Knights of Columbus 2-1 after one inning of play.
Two runs in the top of the third inning gave Chevrolet/Buick a 4-1 advantage.
The Knights of Columbus scored single runs in the bottom of the third and the fourth innings to close the gap to 4-3.
Scoring a run in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Knights of Columbus tied the game and forced extra innings.
The Knights of Columbus shut out Chevrolet/Buick in the top of the sixth inning.
Brady LaBarge led off the bottom of the sixth with a single.
LaBarge scored the winning run on an error.
Jack Bridwell, Jaden Farha and Grayson Farha pitched for the Knights of Columbus.
Gehrig Bechard, Brody Knox and Easton Knox pitched for Chevrolet/Buick.
Grayson Farha scored three runs for the Knights of Columbus.
The American Legion and the Concordia Lions were tied at 2-2 after one inning of play.
Ayden Krier hit a home run for the American Legion.
Koehn Williams homered in the second inning as the Concordia Lions put up three runs to take a 5-2 lead.
The American Legion battled back with four runs in the third inning that made it a 6-2 game.
Liam Lervold hit a home run in the inning for the American Legion.
The American Legion added two runs in the fourth inning and led 9-5.
The Concordia Lions were shut out over the final three innings.
