Knights of Columbus, Lions post wins

The Knights of Columbus and the Concordia Lions posted Peewee Baseball wins Wednesday night at the Concordia Sports Complex.
Putting up 24 runs over three innings, the Knights of Columbus rolled to a 25-9 victory over the American Legion.
The Concordia Lions scored 10 runs in the final two innings to get past the Concordia Chevrolet Chevy's, 12-7.
Trailing 2-1 after one inning, the Knights of Columbus erupted for 10 runs in the second inning, and led 11-2.
The Knights of Columbus added six runs in the third inning to one for the American Legion to make it 17-3.
Outscoring the American Legion 8-6 in the fourth inning, the Knights of Columbus went up 25-9.
Jack Gilliland scored four runs for the Knights of Columbus. Jaden Farha, Brady LaBarge, Peyton Ryals and Treyton Biery scored three runs each.
Landen Belden scored three runs for the American Legion.
The Concordia Lions fell behind the Chevy's 2-0 in the first inning.
Each team scored two runs in the second inning, and the Chevy's were up 4-2.
The Chevy's made it 5-2 with a run in the third inning.
Sending 11 batters to the plate, the Lions pushed across six runs in the fourth inning to go up 8-5.
The Lions extended the lead to 12-5 with four runs in the top of the fifth inning.
The Chevy's scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Gavin Robinson and Nash Farha did the pitching for the Lions.
Robinson had two hits and scored two runs in the game.
Easton Knox and Liam Francis pitched for the Chevy's.
Daniel Kemling had two hits and scored three runs.
