Knights of Columbus pull away to 15-5 win

Scoring 11 runs in the fourth and fifth innings combined, the Knights of Columbus pulled away to a 15-5 win over Concordia Chevrolet/Buick in Peewee Baseball play Wednesday night at the Concordia Sports Complex.
The Knights of Columbus led the game 5-2 heading into the fourth inning.
Sending 10 batters to the plate, the Knights of Columbus put up six runs in the top of the fourth to go up 11-2.
The Knights of Columbus added four runs in the top of the fifth inning, and led 15-2.
Chevrolet/Buick picked up three runs in the bottom of the fifth.
The Knights of Columbus took a 1-0 lead in the first inning and then made it 5-0 with four runs in the top of the third inning.
Chevrolet/Buick scored two runs in the bottom of the third.
Grayson Farha was the winning pitcher for the Knights of Columbus.
Farha had three hits and scored four runs in the game.
Jack Bridwell scored three runs for the Knights of Columbus.
In the other game played Wednesday night, the American Legion downed the Concordia Lions, 16-2.
The American Legion fell behind 1-0 in the top of the first inning.
Ayden Krier hit a home run as the American Legion scored two runs in the bottom of the first.
The American Legion tacked on four runs in the second inning to make it a 6-1 game.
A run in the top of the third inning left the Lions trailing 6-2.
Krier and Braytin Hake homered as the American Legion erupted for 10 runs in the bottom of the third inning to extend its lead to 16-2.
Krier had three hits and scored three runs.
Brandon Vignery had three hits and scored three runs for the American Legion.
Liam Lervold also scored three runs.
