Nine Panther wrestlers earn all-NCKL recognition

Nine members of the Concordia High School wrestling team received All-North Central Kansas League recognition.
Concordia had four boys and one girl selected first-team all-league, including two state placers in junior Daniel Vines and senior Keyan Miller.
Vines placed second in the 126-pound class at the Class 4A state championships and finished with a 38-2 record.
Miller finished third at state at 182 pounds. He posted a 41-3 record.
The others Panthers named first-team All-NCKL were sophomore Christian Belden, 106 pounds, and freshman Tracer Murdock, 220 pounds.
The other first-team selections, their weight class and school, include:
Hayden Kalivoda, 113, Clay Center; Gabe Fredrickson, 120, Marysville; Tucker Cell, 132, Abilene; Javin Welsh, 138, Abilene; Talyn Pfizenmaier, 152, Clay Center; Drew Brown, 160, Wamego; Brett Loader, 170, Clay Center; Hayden Oviatt, 195, Wamego; and Troy Boyd, 285, Chapman.
Concordia's Teggan Workman, 143 pounds, was a first-team pick on the girls' all-league team.
The other girls named all-league include:
Mena Mann, 101, Chapman; Alissa Cowing, 109, Clay Center; Paige Siemers, 115, Marysville; Kate Morillo, 120, Clay Center; Gabi Koppes, 126, Clay Center; Adi Honeycut, 132, Wamego; Ella Johnson, 138, Marysville; Aly Brown, 155, Abilene; Grace Johns, 170, Chapman; Lyndsey Buechman, 191, Abilene; Chelsey Armbruster, 235, Chapman.
Panther boys receiving All-NCKL honorable mention include:
Ashton Dooley, sophomore, 113; Logan Leiszler, senior, 120; Easton Swihart, sophomore, 138; and Nathan Brown, senior, 170.
