Nine Panthers earn all-league honors

Nine members of the Concordia High School football team received All-North Central Kansas League recognition.
Concordia finished the season 8-3 and advanced to the sectional round of the Class 3A playoffs before falling to unbeaten Andale.
The Panthers had runningback Keyan Miller and linemen Dalton Owen and Keegun Beims named to the all-league team on offense.
Safety Cav Carlgren and linebacker Cameron Cleveland were all-NCKL picks on defense for Concordia.
Lineman Shelby Giersch received all-league honorable mention on offense.
Receiving honorable mention on defense were end Tyler Hobrock and linebackers Stryker Hake and Aidan Poore.
Miller, a senior, led Concordia in rushing with 1,721 yards on 205 carries with 25 touchdowns. He also caught 10 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns.
Owen, a senior; Beims, a sophomore; and Giersch, a senior, anchored the line for a Concordia team that averaged 382.6 yards rushing and 38.1 points per game.
Carlgren, a senior, finished with 77 tackles and three interceptions.
Cleveland, a sophomore, led Concordia with 120 tackles. He had seven tackles for loss and three fumble recoveries.
Hobrock, a senior, finished with 41 tackles and six sacks.
Hake, a junior, recorded 76 tackles and six interceptions. He is Concordia's all-time leader in interceptions with 13.
Poore had 40 tackles, four interceptions and scored two defensive touchdowns.
