Owen, Miller sign to play football

Two Concordia High School seniors have signed letters of intent to play football at NCAA Division II programs in Kansas.
Keyan Miller signed with Fort Hays State University and Dalton Owen signed with Emporia State University.
A 5-7, 185-pound runningback, Miller rushed for 1,721 yards on 205 carries and scored 23 touchdowns  during his senior season. He also caught 10 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns.
Miller, who ranks second all-time at Concordia High School with 3,352 rushing yards, was an All-North Central Kansas League selection and was named to the Kansas Football Coaches Association (KFBCA) Class 3A All-State team.
As a junior, Miller rushed for 475 yards and averaged 7.2 yards per carry.
Miller had 111 carries for 712 yards and six touchdowns his sophomore season.
A 6-3, 300-pound offensive lineman, Owen was an All-NCKL selection and was named to the KFBCA All-State team. He was also selected to play in the Kansas Shrine Bowl.
Owen anchored a line for a Concordia team that averaged 38 points and 383 yards of total offense per game.
Concordia finished the season at 8-3.
