Panther JV ties for first place

Getting first-place finishes by Jesika Bisnette and Shanna Sulanka in singles play, the Concordia High School junior varsity girls' tennis team tied for first place in the tournament it hosted on Tuesday.
Bisnette placed first in number one singles and Sulanka was first in number two singles.
Concordia also had Katria Kindscher and Gracey Drury place third in number one doubles.
The Panthers did not have an entry in number two doubles.
Concordia tied with Beloit for first place. Clay Center was third.
Bisnette went 4-0 in the tournament. She defeated Maddie Black, Beloit JV, 6-1; Jenna Fickers, Clay Center, 6-5; Jyden Brooks, Beloit, 6-5; and Miranda Radenberg, Abilene, 6-2.
Sulanka won all three of her matches. She downed Zelma Krone, Beloit, 6-1; Sophie Easter, Beloit JV, 6-1; and Lydia Peterson, Clay Center, 6-4.
Kindscher and Drury finished 2-2 in the tournament. They defeated Vanessa Strathman and Ally Otte, Beloit, 6-0; lost to Izzy Blackwood and Annalea Hendrickson, Clay Center, 6-1; lost to Selena Johnson and Abigail Larsen, Beloit, 6-5; and defeated Danielle Ogden and Malia Trate, Abilene, 6-0.
