Panther JV tumbles to Abilene

Abilene dealt the Concordia junior varsity boys' basketball team a 48-40 home loss Friday night.
Concordia trailed just 13-12 after one quarter of play.
The Panthers scored nine points in the second period and gave up eight points to pull even at 21-21 at halftime.
Abilene doubled up Concordia 10-5 in the third quarter, and led 31-26.
The Cowboys scored 17 points in the final period and Concordia scored 14.
Chane Parker paced the Panthers with 17 points. Lewis VanMeter added 12 points.
The Concordia C-team was beaten 61-33 by Abilene.
Abilene led the game 34-17 at halftime and outscored the Panthers 27-16 in the second half.
Baylor Knox scored 11 points for Concordia.
