Panther runners compete in league meet

MARYSVILLE — Concordia High School had two boys and two girls compete in the North Central Kansas League cross country meet last Thursday at Marysville Country Club.
Qwinter Thrash placed 25th for Concordia in the boys' race with a time of 19:31.52.
Draven Luecke finished 28th for the Panthers in 21:12.01.
Drew Elliott, Chapman, won the boys' race in 16:41.07.
Wamego captured the team title with 35 points. Marysville was second with 49 and Chapman was third with 66.
Concordia's Aubrey Stahlman finished 28th in the girls' race in 26:58.32.
Megan Barr was 31st in 30:01.90.
Lauren Smith, Clay Center, was the individual champion in 19:30.11.
Clay Center won the team title with 32 points. Wamego was second with 44 and Chapman was third with 79.
In the junior varsity boys' race, Concordia's Brody Marsh finished 38th in 24:02.74. Gunner Barnes was 39th in 24:19.09 and Quinn Kymer was 41st in 24:22.17.
Concordia had Daniel Reedy place 11th in the eighth grade boys' race in 13:01.61.
Ashlynn James led three Concordia girls in the eighth grade race by finishing third in 13:04.44. Addison Schreiber was eighth in 14:17.12 and Bailey Conner was 10th in 14:28.54.
Concordia's Cale Bridwell won the seventh grade boys' race with a time of 11:52.26. Baron Farha was 10th in 13:14.37 and Tucker Davis was 11th in 13:21.43.
Kiersyn Koch finished second for the Panthers in the seventh grade girls' race in 13:44.14. Addyson Stensaas was third in 14:29.86 and Liv Kindel was 13th in 17:58.08.
The Concordia varsity runners will compete in the Class 4A regional meet at Buhler on Saturday.
