Panthers compete in TMP Invitational

HAYS — The Concordia High School girls' golf team competed in the Thomas More Prep-Marian Invitational Monday at Smoky Hill Country Club.
Concordia posted a team score of 544 and placed seventh.
Wamego easily won the team title with a 357. Hoisington was second with a 429 and Hays was third with a 438.
Georgia Trost led Concordia with a 127.
Peyton Johnson shot a 134 for the Panthers.
Brecklynn Bonner carded a 141 and Cianna DeLeon shot a 142.
“We struggled with the rough and trees today, but Georgia and Peyton were able to have couple of Prs (personal records),” Concordia coach Gene Rundus said.
Addison Douglass, Wamego, was the individual champion, with an 84
Ashten Pierson, Wamego, finished second with an 88 and Kirby McKee, Wamego, was third with a 91.
