Panthers crush Clay Center

Racking up over 400 yards of total offense, the Concordia eighth-grade football team cruised to a 58-8 victory over Clay Center Thursday at Harold M. Clark Stadium.
Concordia put up 24 points in the first quarter of the game.
Matthew Naillieux scored the Panthers' first touchdown on a 78-yard run. Javon Garcia ran in the two-point conversion.
Ayden Krier had a 70-yard touchdown run in the period. Brandon Vignery threw to Macon Farha for the conversion.
Naillieux ripped off a 61-yard scoring run. Vignery ran in the conversion to make it 24-0.
A 67-yard touchdown run by Krier in the second quarter gave Concordia a 30-0 lead.
Krier hauled in a 48-yard touchdown pass, and the Panthers led 36-0 at halftime.
Concordia added a pair of scores in the third quarter.
Krier returned the second half kickoff for a touchdown.
Garcia had a 55-yard touchdown run and Vignery ran in the conversion.
Clay Center scored its lone touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Krier found the end zone for the fifth time by returning the kickoff 75 yards for a touchdown. Vignery ran in the conversion.
Naillieux rushed for 150 yards on just four carries with two touchdowns.
Krier had 137 yards on two carries with two touchdowns. He caught one pass for 48 yards and a score.
Garcia carried four times for 64 yards.
Vignery completed three of four passes for 73 yards.
