Panthers defeat Falcons, place third

SALINA — Teron Kraft rushed for two touchdowns as the Concordia Panthers downed the Ottawa County Falcons 19-7 in the third-place game of the Central Kansas Football League sixth grade division.
Kraft scored on a 1-yard run on the Panthers' opening possession to make it 6-0.
Ottawa County answered with a scoring drive, and added the extra point to go up 7-6.
Concordia was still trailing by a point in the third quarter when Tracer Murdock blocked and Ottawa County punt.
Kraft scored on a 5-yard run to put the Panthers back on top, 12-7.
Keegan Workman came up with an interception for Concordia in the fourth quarter.
Kaide Gropp threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Workman, and it was a 19-7 game.
Kraft rushed for 64 yards.
Drew Sterrett added 60 yards rushing.
Murdock had four tackles for the Panthers.
Shaun Keilers had four tackles and an interception.
