Panthers down Abilene

ABILENE — The Concordia eighth-grade boy's basketball team knocked off Abilene 56-37 in a road game on Thursday.
Concordia led just 14-10 after one quarter of play.
The Panthers gave up just four points in the second stanza, and scored 14 to stretch its lead to 28-14.
Concordia tacked on 17 points in the third quarter. Abilene scored 16, and it was a 45-30 game.
The Panthers outscored Abilene 11-7 in the final period.
Ian Loudermilk led Concordia with 24 points.
Boone Richard added 16 points for the Panthers.
The Concordia B-team lost 35-22 to Abilene.
Concordia trailed 19-10 at halftime.
Abilene scored 16 points in the second half to 12 for the Panthers.
Parker Jackson scored seven points for Concordia.
