Panthers fall to Abilene

The Concordia seventh grade football team suffered a 34-6 loss to Abilene Thursday at Harold M. Clark Stadium.
Abilene got touchdown runs of 45 yards and 54 yards in the first quarter to take a 14-0 lead.
Three touchdowns in the second period put Abilene on top 34-0 at halftime.
Carter Eakins scored for Concordia on a 5-yard run in the third quarter to make it a 34-6 game.
Drew Sterrett rushed for 70 yards on 12 carries for the Panthers.
Eakins had 39 yards on 10 carries.
