Panthers pick up two road wins

CHAPMAN — Concordia picked up a pair of road wins over Chapman in seventh grade volleyball play on Thursday.
The Panthers rolled to a 25-10 victory in the first set of the first match.
Chapman won the second set, 25-21.
Concordia took the third set, 15-10.
The Panthers then won the second match in straight sets, 25-15, 25-22.
“Much improvement from last week,” Concordia coach Cindi Atwell said. “Rotation was much better and teamwork was spot on. Serving was on target and the girls' hustle was commendable.”
The Concordia seventh grade B-team defeated Chapman twice.
Concordia won the first match 25-22, 25-16 and won the second match, 15-12, 15-9.
