Panthers roll, 42-13

BELLEVILLE — Stella Trost and Jaylin Roush combined for 27 points as the Concordia eighth grade girls' basketball team downed Republic County 42-13 on Monday.
Trost led the way for Concordia with 17 points. Roush added 10.
Concordia jumped out to an 11-2 first quarter lead in the game.
The Panthers scored six points in the second period, to four for Republic County, and led 15-6 at halftime.
Concordia pumped in 15 points in the third quarter, and gave up just three points to increase its lead to 32-9.
The Panthers tacked on 10 points in the final period. Republic County scored four points.
