Panthers slip past Chapman, 18-17

Concordia rallied in the fourth quarter to slip past Chapman 18-17 in seventh grade girls' basketball play Thursday at the Concordia Junior-Senior High School.
The game was tied at 2-2 at the end of the first quarter.
Concordia was shut out in the second stanza, and Chapman scored four points to go up 6-2.
The Panthers tossed in six points in the third period, to five for Chapman, and it was an 11-8 game.
Concordia then outscored Chapman 10-6 in the final quarter to pick up the win.
Stella Trost scored six points for the Panthers.
The Concordia B-team was beaten 34-16 by Chapman.
McKayla Cherney scored 10 points for Concordia.
