Panthers thump Fort Riley, 45-12

FORT RILEY — Getting out to a big lead early, the Concordia Panthers downed Fort Riley 45-12 in eighth-grade boys' basketball play on Thursday.
Concordia had a 15-2 lead after one quarter of play.
The Panthers limited Fort Riley to one point in the second stanza, and scored six, to go up 21-3.
Concordia outscored Fort Riley 13-4 in the third period, and led 34-7.
The Panthers added 11 points in the final quarter to five for Fort Riley.
Grayson Farha and Ayden Krier scored 12 points each for Concordia. Brandon Vignery added 10 points.
The Concordia B-team knocked off Fort Riley, 26-19.
Dakota Valcoure scored nine points for Concordia.
