Panthers top Abilene

The Concordia seventh grade boys' basketball team defeated Abilene 44-34 in a home game on Thursday.
Concordia led the game 11-5 after one quarter of play.
The Panthers scored nine points in the second stanza, to five for Abilene, to make it 20-10 at halftime.
Concordia outscored Abilene 15-7 in the third period to open up a 35-7 advantage.
Abilene tossed in 17 points in the final quarter to nine for the Panthers.
Drake Blochlinger led three Concordia players in double figures with 17 points.
Boone Richard and Isaias Irigoyen added 10 points each.
The Concordia C-team fell 19-16 to Abilene.
Abilene led the game 12-9 at halftime.
Each team scored seven points in the second half.
Danner Benfer scored six points for Concordia.
