Panthers top Clay Center

The Concordia eighth grade boys' basketball team posted a 46-28 victory over Clay Center Thursday in the Concordia Junior-Senior High School gymnasium.
The game was tied at 12-12 after one quarter of play.
Concordia allowed just two points in the second stanza, and scored 14 to go on top, 26-14.
The Panthers gave up just five points in the third quarter, and scored 12 to make it a 30-19 game.
Chapman scored nine points in the final period to eight for Concordia.
Boone Richard led Concordia with 15 points. Ian Loudermilk scored 10 points.
The Concordia B-team fell 36-19 to Clay Center.
Concordia trailed 18-13 at halftime.
Clay Center outscored the Panthers 18-6 in the second half.
Noah Wood scored five points for Concordia.
