Panthers top Marysville

MARYSVILLE — Concordia used a big fourth to defeat Marysville 40-17 in eighth-grade boys' basketball play on Monday.
Leading just 20-15 after three quarters of play, Concordia outscored Marysville 20-2 in the final period to secure the win.
Ayden Krier led the Panthers with 13 points. Brandon Vignery added 12 points.
The game was tied at 2-2 after one quarter of play.
Concordia limited Marysville to three points in the second period and scored seven to go up 9-5 at halftime.
The Panthers added 11 points in the third quarter, to 10 for Marysville, to take the 20-15 advantage.
The Concordia B-team fell 21-13 to Marysville.
Marysville had an 11-6 lead at halftime.
Concordia was outscored 10-7 in the second half.
Dakota Valcoure scored six points for the Panthers.
