Rock Creek deals Panthers first defeat
Rock Creek dealt the Concordia eighth grade football team its first loss of the season, 40-8, Thursday night at Harold M. Clark Stadium.
Concordia scored first on a 57-yard touchdown pass from Brandon Vignery to Ayden Krier.
Matthew Naillieux ran in the two-point conversion to give the Panthers an 8-0 lead.
Rock Creek got a touchdown pass in the first quarter. The conversion attempt failed, and it was an 8-6 game.
A pair of touchdown passes in the second period put Rock Creek up 20-8 at halftime.
Rock Creek added a touchdown run and a touchdown pass in the third period to open up a 34-8 advantage.
