Scoring four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, Concordia Chevrolet/Buick rallied for a 4-3 Peewee Baseball victory over the Concordia Lions Monday night at the Concordia Sports Complex.
A home run by Koehn Williams gave the Concordia Lions a 1-0 lead in the second inning.
Bryson Sorensen and Tyler Applebee scored runs for the Concordia Lions in the third inning to extend the lead to 3-0.
The first four batters for Concordia Chevrolet/Buick, Brody Knox, Colton McWhorter, Daniel Kemling and Grayson Palmgren, reached base and came around to score in the bottom of the fourth inning to make it a 4-3 game.
Concordia Chevrolet/Buick retired the Concordia Lions in order in the top of the fifth inning to secure the win.
Palmgren did the pitching for Concordia Chevrolet/Buick.
Sorenson pitched for the Concordia Lions.
In the other game played Monday night, the American Legion defeated the Knights of Columbus, 14-4.
Brandon Vignery hit a two-run home run in the top of the first inning as the American Legion got out to a 3-0 lead.
Scoring four runs in the top of the second inning, the American Legion led 7-0.
The Knights of Columbus put up four runs in the bottom of the second.
Vignery hit a second home run in a seven-run third inning for the American Legion that made it a 14-4 game.
The game ended after the fourth inning.
Kasey Pearson pitched for the American Legion.
Vignery had two hits and scored three runs.
Ayden Krier had two hits and scored two runs.
Trigg Fraser and Dominick Bliss scored two runs each.
