Seventh grade boys, girls place in top three in league meet

The Concordia seventh grade boys' and girls' track and field teams recorded top three finishes in the North Central Kansas League track and field meet hosted by Concordia on Tuesday.
Concordia placed second in the seventh grade boys' division with 109 points.
Wamego won the meet with 152 points and Abilene was third with 99.
The Concordia seventh grade girls finished third as a team with 94 points.
Wamego captured the team title with 115 points. Clay Center was second with 97.33.
The Concordia eighth grade girls placed fifth with 75.5 points.
Wamego finished first with 119.5 points. Fort Riley was second with 117 and Clay Center was third with 79.
The Concordia eighth grade boys finished sixth in the meet with 58 points.
Abilene scored 130 points to win the meet. Wamego was second with 107 and Marysville was third with 105.
The Concordia seventh grade boys had Isaias Irigoyen win the high jump by clearing 5-0. He was also fourth in the 200-meter dash (26.94).
Irgoyen teamed up with Boone Richard, Drake Blochlinger and Ryker Wildeman to place first in the 4x100 relay in 50.53.
Wildeman, Kale Schroeder, Burke Kindel and Deekon Holbert ran 1:56.50 to capture first place in the 4x200 relay.
Wildeman, Holbert, Irigoyen and Kindel won the sprint medley relay in 2:01.66.
Blochlinger had second-place finishes in the 100-meter dash (11.75) and the 800-meter run (2:30.28).
Kindel placed second in the pole vault (8-0) and Wildeman was fourth (7-0).
Schroeder was second in the 100-meter hurdles (18.30).
Richard finished third in the 400-meter dash (59.91), the long jump (15-11 ½) and the triple jump (33-5).
Koehn Williams placed third in the javelin (101-4).
Holbert finished fourth in the discus (81-3).
Concordia's 4x400 relay team of Kindel, Schroeder, Tre Hamiel and Parker Jackson placed fifth (4:52.17).
The Concordia seventh grade girls had four first-place finishes in the meet, including two by Gabrielle Lange.
Lange made 4-8 to win the high jump and 7-6 to take first in the pole vault. She was also fifth in the shot put (29-3 ½).
Trinity McWhorter was second in the pole vault (6-0) and Oakleigh Teel was fifth in the high jump (4-4).
Hannah Bridwell won the 3,200-meter run with a time of 13:31.48. She was also third in the 800-meter run (2:49.47).
Concordia's 4x200 relay team of McWhorter, Teel, Lillian Nuss and Shea Weber finished first in 2:00.63.
Mya Niehues placed second in the 1,600-meter run (6:06.93) and third in the 800 (2:45.93).
Skye Johnson was fourth in the 1,600 (6:46.48).
McWhorter, Lange, Nuss and Madalyn Bowers finished second in the 4x100 relay (55.92).
Nuss, Niehues, Bridwell and Ava Metro placed second in the 4x400 relay (4:54.54).
Nuss was fifth in the 200 dash (29.72) and Weber was sixth (30.56).
Bowers finished sixth in the 100 dash (14.36).
Lili Brooks placed sixth in the 100 hurdles (20.73).
The Concordia eighth grade girls had Ilyssa Maya, Airiana Wogomon, Kynlee Hamel and Charlize Cash win the 4x100 relay in 53.21.
Cash finished second in the long jump (15-1 ½) and the triple jump (32-3) and was third in the 100 hurdles (18.19).
Rylie Jessup placed second in the 800 run (2:43.23) and tied for fifth in the triple jump (30-8 ½).
Hamel finished third in the 100 dash (13.56) and fourth in the 200 (28.67).
Marlie Johnson was third in the discus (74-11) and Bella Stuber was fifth (73-4).
Concordia's 4x200 relay team of Maya, Wogomon, Keri Farmer and Samantha Bartlett placed third (2:03.26).
Maya, Wogomon, Jessup and Anna Widen finished third in the sprint medley relay (2:10.74).
Farmer, Bartlett, Jessup and Wogomon placed sixth in the 4x400 (2:10.74).
The Concordia eighth grade boys had Grayson Stephens win two events.
Stephens ran 12.09 to take first in the 100 dash and 54.36 to win the 400. He was also second in the 200 (24.97).
Rush LeDuc threw 147-9 to capture first in the javelin.
Baylor Knox placed third in the pole vault (9-6).
Grant Robinson finished third in the 1,600 run (5:43.34).
Stephens, Joe Berk, Logan Jackson and Traxlur Kindel placed third in the 4x100 relay (50.36).
Berk, Kindel, Jackson and Knox finished sixth in the 4x200 (1:53.03).
Kindel, Knox, Draven Lueke and Cole Britt placed sixth in the sprint medley (2:09.84).
