Seventh grade boys win
Ayden Krier and Grayson Farha combined for 30 points to lead the Concordia seventh grade boys' basketball team to a 38-27 home win over Clay Center on Thursday.
Krier scored 16 points for the Panthers and Farha added 14.
Concordia jumped out to a 17-6 lead in the first quarter.
The Panthers doubled up Clay Center 10-5 in the second period, and led 27-13.
Clay Center outscored Concordia 9-6 in the third quarter to make it a 33-20 game.
The Panthers were limited to five points in the final period, and Clay Center scored seven.
The Concordia B-team downed Clay Center, 50-29.
Concordia led 21-13 at halftime.
The Panthers poured in 29 points in the second half to 16 for Clay Center.
Dakota Valcoure and Brody Johnson scored 12 points for Concordia. Javen Garcia added 10 points.
