Seventh grade boys win, 51-41

CLAY CENTER — Drake Blochlinger and Isaias Irigoyen combined for 39 points to lead the Concordia seventh grade boys' basketball team to a 51-41 win over Clay Center in a road game on Thursday.
Blochlinger pumped in 26 points for Concordia and Irigoyen added 13 points.
Concordia led the game 16-9 after one quarter of play.
The Panthers added 11 points in the second period, to eight points for Clay Center, to make it 27-17 at halftime.
Clay Center outscored Concordia 14-10 in the third quarter to close the gap to 37-31.
The Panthers then scored 14 points in the final stanza to 10 for Clay Center.
The Concordia B-team was beaten 37-17 by Clay Center.
Clay Center led the game 15-8 at halftime.
Concordia was outscored 22-9 in the second half.
Jakub Brooks scored four points for Concordia.
