Seventh grade girls fall to Chapman

CHAPMAN —The Concordia seventh-grade girls' basketball team lost 35-23 to Chapman in a road game on Thursday.
The game was tied at 8-8 after one quarter of play.
Chapman outscored Concordia 18-7 in the second period to go up 26-15 at halftime.
The Panthers were shut out in the third quarter, and Chapman scored five points to make it 31-15.
Concordia doubled up Chapman 8-4 in the final period.
Rubi Trost scored 11 points for the Panthers. Skylah Garst added 10 points.
