Seventh grade girls tumble to Lakewood

The Concordia seventh grade girls' basketball team was beaten 29-6 by Salina Lakewood Middle School, Tuesday in the Concordia Junior-Senior High School gymnasium.
Lakewood had an 8-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Concordia was outscored 8-2 in the second period, and trailed 16-2 at halftime.
Lakewood added eight points in the third quarter, and the Panthers were shut out.
Concordia tossed in four points in the final period to five for Lakewood.
Stella Trost scored four points for Concordia.
The Concordia B-team fell 24-13 to Lakewood.
Brexlynn Koch and Allison Finley scored four points each for Concordia.
