Seventh grade girls win opener

FORT RILEY — The Concordia seventh grade girls' basketball team shut out Fort Riley 20-0 in its season opener on Thursday.
Concordia led 4-0 after one quarter of play.
The Panthers tacked on eight points in the second stanza to go up 12-0 at halftime.
Concordia scored four points in the third quarter and four in the fourth.
Lili Brooks and Jaylin Roush scored six points each for Concordia.
Stella Trost and Hannah Bridwell added four points each.
The Concordia B-team also blanked Fort Riley, 20-0.
Trinity McWhorter scored six points for the Panthers.
