T-Birds battle back to beat Saints

LIBERAL — The Cloud County Community College volleyball team battled back from two sets down to defeat Seward County Community College in a Jayhawk Conference match on Saturday.
Cloud County dropped the first set of the match to Seward County, 25-19.
The Saints went up 2-0 by winning the second set 25-23.
Cloud County stayed alive in the match with a 25-18 victory in the third set.
The Thunderbirds won the fourth set 25-18 to even the match at 2-2.
Cloud County downed the Saints 15-10 in the fifth and deciding set.
With the season sweep of Seward County, the T-Birds improved to 21-12 overall and 7-8 in conference play.
The Saints fall to 12-15 overall and 4-10 in the conference.
Bradie Medina had 18 kills and 12 digs for Cloud County in the win over Seward County.
Doga Eski finished with 16 kills and 32 digs.
Madison Ronnebaum also had 16 kills.
Brette Doile had 22 digs.
Katelynn Brogan had 62 assists.
Cloud County will finish up its regular season by hosting Pratt Community College in a conference match on Saturday.
