T-Birds battle back to defeat Pratt

PRATT — Rallying from two sets down, the Cloud County Community College volleyball team closed out its Jayhawk Conference West Division schedule with a five-set win over Pratt Community College Wednesday night.
Cloud County, which has won four straight matches to improve to 11-17 overall, finished up 5-11 in conference play.
Pratt, 6-22 overall and 0-16 in the conference, won the first set of the match, 25-22.
The Beavers went up 2-0 with a 25-23 win the second set.
Cloud County scored the final two points to squeeze out a 27-25 victory over Pratt in the third set.
The Thunderbirds pulled even at 2-2 by winning the fourth set, 25-18.
Cloud County won the fifth and deciding set, 15-9.
Madison Ronnebaum recorded a career-high 22 kills for the T-Birds. Katelynn Brogan added 16 kills.
Cloud County wraps up the regular season with a road match against the Kansas Wesleyan junior varsity on Saturday.
