T-Birds get past Seward County

Following three tightly contested sets, the Cloud County Community College volleyball team capped off a Jayhawk Conference victory over Seward County Community College with a lopsided 25-13 win in the fourth set Wednesday night in Bryant Gymnasium.
Cloud County, now 13-5 overall and 3-4 in the conference, trailed Seward County 25-24 in the opening set.
The Thunderbirds scored the final three points to pull out a 27-25 win.
Needing extra points once again, Cloud County narrowly won the second set 29-27 to go up 2-0.
Seward County, 10-9 overall and 2-4 in conference play, made it a 2-1 match with a 25-23 win in the third set.
The Thunderbirds then cruised past the Saints 25-13 to cap off the 3-1 victory.
Doga Eski led three Cloud County players with double figures in kills with 14. She also had a team-high 18 digs.
Madison Ronnebaum added 12 kills.
Katelynn Brogan finished with 1 kill, four blocks and 26 assists and 12 digs.
Ashley Suter recorded 18 assists.
Madelynn Wells had 10 digs.
