Three Panthers named to KAFC all-state team

Three members of the Concordia High School football team have been named to the Kansas Football Coaches Association Class 3A All-State Team.
Senior runningback Keyan Miller and senior lineman Dalton Owen were named to the all-state team on offense.
Cav Carlgren, a senior safety, earned all-state honors on defense.
Miller, 5-8, 190 pounds, rushed for 1,721 yards on 205 carries with 23 touchdowns. He also caught 10 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns.
With 3,352 rushing yards, Miller ranks second in Concordia history.
Owen, 6-3, 300 pounds, was a member of a Concordia offensive line that averaged 382.6 yards per game and scored a school-record 419 points, averaging 38.1 points per contest.
Carlgren, 6-1, 170 pounds, finished the season with 77 tackles and three interceptions.
Concordia finished with an 8-3 record and won two road playoff games before falling to eventual state champion Andale in the quarterfinals.
Joining Miller and Owen on the all-state team on offense include:
Linemen Garrett McCaskill, Andale; Cruz Blair, Frontenac; Colt Sell, Chapman; and Dawson Adams, Southeast of Saline; quarterback Harrison Voth, Cheney; runningback El Riegel, Chapman; receivers Chase Poague, Southeast of Saline, and Luke Grace, Cheney; fullback/tight end Enoch Walton, Pratt; and athlete Trey Harmison, Riley County.
All-State selections on defense include:
Kicker/punter Tate Martin, Clearwater; return specialist Cole Keesling, Clearwater; defensive linemen Landon Dean, Frontenac; Dalton Bunch, Southeast of Saline; Isiah Tyson, Parsons; and Kody Schalk, Columbus; linebackers Logan Spexarth, Andale; Matthew Rodriguez, Southeast of Saline; Ivan Lies, Andale; and Colton McCammon, Prairie View; and defensive backs Levi Knoll, Holcomb; Dion Sylvester, Parsons; and Max Werner, Hesston.
