Trojans defeat CHS JV

BELOIT — The Concordia High School boys' junior varsity basketball team suffered a 49-41 loss to Beloit in its season opener on Friday.
The game was tied at 9-9 after one quarter of play.
Beloit scored 16 points in the second period, to 14 for Concordia, to go up 25-23 at halftime.
The Trojans doubled up the Panthers, 16-8, in the third quarter and led 41-31.
Concordia added 10 points in the final stanza, to eight for Beloit.
Ian Loudermilk led three Concordia players in double figures with 15 points. Isaias Irigoyen scored 11 points and Eli Henderson added 10.
The Concordia C-team lost 68-37 to Beloit.
Joe Berk scored seven points for Concordia.
