Two Concordia wrestlers place in Elementary State

SALINA — Two wrestlers from the Concordia Kids Wrestling Club placed in the top five in their respective divisions in the USA Wrestling Kansas Elementary State Championships Sunday at the Tony's Pizza Events Center.
Kaleb Keiswetter, 55 pounds, placed second.
Kale Schroeder, 80 pounds, placed fifth.
Keiswetter pinned Daxton Paul, Maize Wrestling Club; won an 11-8 decision over Marshall Waters, Lion Elite; won a 6-0 decision over Jalen Myers, Triumph Wrestlng; and won a 9-0 major decision over Tucker Saferite, South Central Punishers. He was beaten 7-1 by James Bilby, South Central Punishers, in the championship match.
Schroeder pinned Kaden Markley, Southwest Timberwolves Kids; pinned Abram Owins, Salina Kids Wrestling Club; won a 6-4 decision over Keith Sanders, Team Grind House; lost by fall to Cooper Stivers, Wamego Wrestling Club; lost a 4-2 decision to Tristen Cox, Brawlers; and pinned Keagan Warders, Marysville Kids Wrestling Club, in the fifth-place match.
