Two Panthers receive All-State honors

Two members of the Concordia High School baseball team have received Class 3A All-State honors by the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches (KABC).
Sophomore outfielder Chas Carlgren was named first-team All-State by the KABC.
Chase Parker, a sophomore, received All-State honorable mention as a utility player.
Carlgren had a team high .517 batting average for a Concordia team that finished 15-6 and won a second straight North Central Kansas League title. He had 30 hits, drove in 25 runs and scored 30.
Parker batted .340 with 15 runs batted in. He also made eight starts on the mound and posted a 6-2 record with a 1.79 earned run average. He struck out 61 in 39 innings.
Concordia advanced to the Class 3A regional championship game before losing 7-5 to Minneapolis.
