Wahlmeier signs with CCCC

Concordia High School senior Emma Wahlmeier signed to compete in track and field at Cloud County Community College on Wednesday.
Wahlmeier is a three time state qualifier. She was a member of Concordia's 4x100 relay team that placed second in the Class 4A state championships last year, and won the 400-meter dash at the North Central Kansas League meet.
As a sophomore, Wahlmeier placed second at state in the 400 with a personal best time of 58.54. She ran on the 4x400 relay team that finished sixth at state, first in the regional meet and first in the league meet.
Wahlmeier finished third at state in the 400 as a freshman. She was a member of the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams that placed third at state.
Wahlmeier also signed with Cloud County for cheerleading.
