Wamego deals CHS loss in league dual

WAMEGO — Wamego dealt the Concordia High School wrestling team a 45-36 defeat in a North Central Kansas League dual on Thursday.
Concordia, now 1-1 in league duals, won the first three matches.
Christian Belden pinned Wamego's Harry Costa in the 106-pound class.
Ashton Dooley, 113 pounds, pinned Hayden Wolfe.
Koby Tyler then pinned Zaylund Lee in the 120-pound class.
Drew Sterrett was the first Panther to suffer a loss. He was pinned by Knox Karnowski in the 126-pound class.
Concordia then registered consecutive wins.
Carter Eakins, 132 pounds, pinned Trevin Steele.
Daniel Vines pinned Austin Meyer in the 138-pound class.
The Panthers then took losses in the next seven matches.
Easton Swihart, 144 pounds, lost by fall to Tayke Weber.
Torxsten Kindel, 150 pounds, was pinned by Thomas McIntyre.
Bergun Kindel lost by fall to Brody Oviatt in the 157-pound class.
Concordia was open at 165 pounds.
Caleb Hanson, 175 pounds, was pinned by Gannon Courture.
The Panthers were open at 190 pounds.
Tracer Murdock, 215 pounds, lost a decision to Mason King.
Concordia's Michael Ashland pinned Blake Hamic, in the 285-pound class.
The Panthers won three of four junior varsity matches.
Trey Collins won a decision over Nathan Ferguson.
Conner Novack pinned Garrett Peterson.
Cody Trost pinned Liam Sheets.
Concordia's Rush LeDuc was pinned by Mark McKee.
