Wamego defeats seventh grade, 26-8

WAMEGO — Outscored 18-0 over the final three quarters, the Concordia seventh grade football team fell 26-8 to Wamego in the final game of the season on Tuesday.
Concordia got a 37-yard touchdown pass from Gehrig Bechard to Colby Buckley in the first quarter.
Bechard ran in the two-point conversion for the Panthers.
Wamego got a touchdown and conversion in the opening period, and the game was tied at 8-8.
Two touchdowns in the second stanza gave Wamego a 20-8 halftime cushion.
Wamego added a touchdown in the third quarter to make it 26-8.
