Wamego tops CHS JV

Falling behind 32-19 in the first half, the Concordia junior varsity boys' basketball team suffered a 55-42 loss to Wamego in a home game on Friday.
Wamego got out to an 18-13 lead in the first quarter of the game.
Concordia was limited to six points in the second period, and the Red Raiders scored 14 to take the 32-19 lead.
The Panthers outscored Wamego 15-9 in the third quarter to close the gap to 41-34.
Wamego added 14 points in the final period, to eight for Concordia.
Jonathan Turner scored 13 points for the Panthers and Alan Garcia added 10 points.
The Concordia C-team was beaten 43-27 by Wamego.
Wamego led the game 17-14 at halftime, and outscored Concordia 26-13 in the second half.
Luke Donovan scored 19 points for the Panthers.
