MANHATTAN — More than 1,300 students completed degree requirements from Kansas State University in fall 2024. The graduates are from 80 Kansas counties, almost 40 states and more than two dozen countries.
The university awarded approximately 900 bachelor's degrees, 250 master's degrees and 80 doctorates. Several students earned multiple degrees.
Students with exceptionally high grade point averages received honors for outstanding academic performance: summa cum laude for students with a grade point average of 3.95 or above, magna cum laude for those with a grade point average of 3.85 to 3.949, and cum laude for students with GPAs of 3.75 to 3.849.
Students from Cloud County receiving degrees were Dawson Girard, Clyde: Bachelor of Science; Cole Stahlman, Concordia: Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude.
