Cloud County Community College to Host Annual Thunderbird All-Star Invitational

The Cloud County Community College Athletic Department will host three all-star high school games during its annual Thunderbird All-Star Invitational on Sunday, April 6. The games bring some of the best student-athletes in the region to Cloud County's Concordia campus to showcase their skills. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for those K-12. Any child below kindergarten age will be admitted for free.

Proceeds from the Thunderbird All-Star Invitational go to support the Cloud County Community College volleyball and basketball teams.

The women's all-star basketball game will begin at 1 pm in Arley Bryant Gymnasium.

Members of the women's all-star basketball teams, with the high school where they played, include: Kinsleigh Bethune, Concordia; Addison Budke, Beloit; Cami Dalinghaus, Nemaha Central; Kennedy Dodds, Manhattan; Adyson Green, Central Plains; Marcela Huerta, Linn; Ayla Johnson, Clay Center; Anna Jueneman, Hanover; Grace Lamatsch, Central Plains; Anna Lambert, Riley County; Maci McClure, Minneapolis; Raegann McDonald, Clay Center; Breanna Reeves, Pike Valley; Paige Smith, Wakefield; Marilyn Soeken, Central Plains; Lillian Steinbrock, Clifton-Clyde; Avery Stindt, Pike Valley; Cass Thompson, Beloit; and Braedee Weatherman, Minneapolis.

Coaches are Dalton Haist, Clay Center, and Trevor Kuhlman, Linn.

The men's all-star basketball game will begin at 3 pm in Arley Bryant Gymnasium.

Members of the men's all-star basketball teams include: Elijah Bell, Rock Creek; Coley Burgess, Rock Creek; Andrew Cooper, Pike Valley; Ian Crump, Abilene; Luke Donovan, Concordia; Colby Frehe, Nemaha Central; Brady Hurla, St. Mary's; Bear Moddelmog, Moundridge; Ben Nicholson, Great Bend; Will Otott, Marysville; Peyton Retter, Concordia; Landon Simpson, Ellinwood; Jack Skocny, Clifton-Clyde; and Ja'Twaan Williams, Junction City.

Coaches are Justin Smith, Rock Creek, and Josh Skocny, Clifton-Clyde.

The volleyball all-star game will take place inside Arley Bryant Gymnasium with first serve set for 5 pm.

Members of the volleyball all-star teams include: Kinsleigh Bethune, Concordia; Aubrey Birney, Russell; Ella Brueggemann, Thayer Central; Emma Brueggemann, Thayer Central; Kenadie Casanova, Derby; Jaidyn Follis, Beloit; Kailyn Follis, Beloit; Reagan Gerety, Nemaha Central; Jolie Girard, Clifton-Clyde; Hallie Holthaus, Nemaha Central; Rylie Malget, Wichita Southeast; Elizabeth Schuster, Holton; Kylie Smith, Axtell; Jenna Storz, Phillipsburg; Zoey Sudbeck, Nemaha Central; and Kenlee Williams, Concordia.

Coaches are Lisa Crites and Brittany Kratzer of Central Plains High School.
